Private Line (PL)

Glossary

A sub-audible tone / code used to create unique / private communication groups while operating in Conventional communications mode. PL is a generic term sometimes used to mean Tone Private Line (TPL), or sometimes used to mean both TPL and Digital Private Line (DPL).
